At this wedding, family and friends from various cultures meet to celebrate with us. This wedding will mix customs from different places, so please read this itinerary carefully to plan your day.

Boat ride from Kelheim to Weltenburg. Please be at the dock on time. The boat leaves at 11.30am. Tell us if you wish to go directly to the church and skip the boat ride instead.

The time between mass and reception is sometimes referred to as the "catholic gap". Use this time to explore the monastery directly on the Danube river, have a stroll through the town festivities in Kelheim, or come directly to the reception place where we provide a light meal.
While you can take any form of transport you want to get back to Kelheim, we provide a bus at the times below.

2.30pm: from Weltenburg parking lot to Kelheim dock
3.00pm: from Weltenburg parking lot to Kelheim dock
3.15pm: from Kelheim dock to Gasthof Kellner
4.00pm: from Kelheim dock to Gasthof Kellner
Please note that the pick-up spot at the monastery Weltenburg parking lot is located 700m (0.4 miles) south of the monastery.
Coffee & Cake at Gasthof Kellner. This tradition, where the cake is served before dinner instead of after, is a German equivalent of cocktail hour - an informal time to arrive at the reception venue, have cake, and chat.
After you enter the restaurant, turn right to find us.
Reception at the Feststadl behind the restaurant beginning with a champagne welcome at 5.30pm, followed by music, dinner, and dancing.

There is a parking lot directly next to the dock in Kelheim. There is paid parking on the paved section for €6 per day or free parking on the gravel in the back end of the parking lot.
If you are unable to make the boat ride, you can also park at the paid parking lot 700m (0.4 miles) south of the monastery. And please let us know, so that we plan accordingly.
For the reception, there is free parking available directly at the location.
